Uglies

The Uglies Trilogy is a science-fiction dystopian novel by Scott Westerfeld.

In a dystopian future, a girl named Tally who is almost sixteen awaits her surgery to become supermodel gorgeous just like everyone else. But Tally meets a friend who doesn't want to become pretty, and the friend runs away. Meanwhile, the government wants Tally to look for her friend, or else Tally will never become pretty.
